Due to continuous monitoring and meaningful cooperation of public and private seed sector, the quality of seed has improved a lot for the last 10 years. International institution is recognizing. The quality of seed being produced in the country. This has opened the way to export seed to Bangladesh, Iraq and other countries, mentioned below:

Seed Health Testing

In order to detect seed-borne pathogens, seed/plant samples of various seed crop lots are tested for their health status. The seed procurement agencies are advised regularly to take remedial measure to avert the spread of disease. Year-wise breakup is given below:
